The Basics:
Energy and Endurance - The Diet
- Eat 5-6 well balanced meals per day which contain ample complex carbohydrates.
- Consume vegetables and fruit that contain antioxidants
- Consume at least 3 grams of Omega 3 fatty acids per day
- Drink plenty of water throughout the day
- Consume adequate protein throught the day, Instant Whey is a great way to boost protein intake.
- Avoid excess alcohol
- Avoid all refined carbohydrates like sugar, dextrose, glucose syrup, maltodextrin and white flour
- Do not eat red meat more than 1 or 2 times a week.

Energy and Endurance - The Training
- Use a variety of training methods. Circuit training, sprint training, running etc.
- Use weight training to maintain lean muscle and strengthen bones
- Avoid overtraining which can quickly lead to a weakened immune system and or injuries.
